IT's All Bittersweet!

The style of my drawing is a combination of realism and abstract. The symbolism of my drawing is the representation of the characteristics of fruits. I tried to give them a bit of a personality by drawing their juiced versions of lemonade, orange juice, and limeade. I wanted to emphasize the spill effect of the juices while also making the fruits look somewhat realistic when using colored pencils. For things that I would have changed, I would have liked to make the colors on the lemonade and orange juice brighter and a little less dull-looking. I also would have liked to space out the glasses and fruits a little bit so that there’s less empty space. I love the way the glasses are drawn and especially the lemonade glass. I also love the colors on the lime and how the greens blend together beautifully.
