Happy November to all of our CHS families.
We continue to be having a great start to our year. Our students are now settled in after the very busy start of the year.
We have had a very positive fall season with much to celebrate. We had a very successful athletic season with multiple conference champions and state qualifiers. Our ACT scores released last month still place us as one of the top schools in the state. Jam 4 Charity once again showcased the amazing talents we have at CHS. We welcomed the Starting Point Red Ribbon Speaker, Reggie Dabbs to our school to speak to our students about resilience and making good choices. Our CHS Band performed well in the state competition and our choir groups put on a great first performance of the year. Our theater group is ready to put on a great show for us this weekend with their fall play, Captain Bree, Scourge of the Sea. Our staff worked hard on our professional development day to improve their craft as educators. So many others we could share as this is just a short list of all the accomplishments and celebrations we have had to start the year!
We are looking forward to Parent Teacher Conferences coming up next week. These two nights provide a great opportunity to meet fact-to-face to support our students. We hope to see many parents out those nights.
Only 17 school days until Thanksgiving Break. Have a great month and as always, please reach out if you have any questions.
Go Bulldogs!

It doesn’t cost us a thing to smile, but the rewards of that simple gesture can be innumerable. 😊
It’s easy to make assumptions, but impossible to know what others are going through. We each present a version of ourselves to the world, but oftentimes that surface level representation belies what’s going on within.
When we lead with kindness, we ensure that no matter the interior struggle, we’re responding in a way that supports rather than diminishes, that lifts up rather than tears down, that brings light rather than darkness.
A simple smile can serve as a lifeline.✨ This basic form of acknowledgment can go a long way toward making someone else feel seen, feel important, feel human. It can be a way of establishing a positive connection with someone else. It can be a bridge to healing.
How will you lead with kindness today?
