Happy May, CHS Bulldogs,
23 days of school left in the 2018-2019 school year and even fewer for the families of our seniors. The month of May will be a busy month for our students as they prepare for the end of the year, take part in AP testing, are full steam into spring sports and activities, and finish up everything for their classes leading into final exams. There are many end of the year meetings and celebrations we look forward to that are sprinkled into the very busy month and culminating in the celebration of the Graduating Class of 2019 on June 2nd.
May 6th-10th celebrates Teacher Appreciation Week across the United States. The PTO kicked off the appreciation for all that our staff does with an incredible catered staff lunch on Friday. Our staff works extremely hard and does an amazing job of educating our students. Please reach out to our teachers and share your appreciation if you feel it appropriate.
We are very excited to share that Cedarburg High School was named the #1 ranked school for the state of Wisconsin by US News and World Report for 2019! CHS also ranked an incredible 121st nationally. This is an amazing accomplishment that does not occur without tremendous efforts from our students, a dedicated k-12 staff, and community supporting every part of our school.

- Daily Announcements are read every day at 9:45 AM . Students should listen for important information. The announcements are also posted . Daily Announcements
- Please call in a student absence by 10:00 AM . The Attendance number is 376-6206. Students who become ill during the school day should go to the health room for assistance.

New District Wide Safety Procedures for CHS
We are pleased to announce that CHS will be using the "Raptor Visitor Management System" which will allow us to strengthen our campus safety. The Raptor system works by screening visitors, contractors, & volunteers prior to them entering our building. This process will provide us with a safer environment for our students, staff & visitors.
Implementation of the Raptor Visitor Management System will begin this week, so parents & visitors, please be prepared to present your driver's license upon your arrival at CHS.
