On the first day of the Ying King Festival, after a water invitation ceremony to welcome Dai Tian Xun hunter Chitose Lord who came to Donggang to give blessings, the Chitose Lord Qijiaotou team passing fire ceremony was held in front of Dai Tianfu to show the power, eliminate disasters, and pray for the festival. Smooth and safe, Wang Ye will patrol the fire road, lead the grand, second, third, fourth, and fifth thousand years old and Zhongjun three times in sequence, and then respectfully invite the thousand years old to get off the sedan chair and take a seat in the palace.

迎王祭典第一天，經過請水儀式恭迎代天巡狩千歲爺蒞臨東港賜福後，隨即在代天府前舉行千歲爺七角頭隊伍過火儀式，以展現神威、消災解禍、祈求祭典順利平安，由溫王爺巡火路，帶領大、二、三、四、五千歲爺與中軍爺依序過火三次，再恭請千歲爺落轎，入王府安座。
