Standard Five ~

Managerial Leadership

School executives will ensure that the school has processes and systems in place for budgeting, staffing, problem solving, communicating expectations and scheduling that results in organizing the work routines in the building. The school executive must be responsible for the monitoring of the school budget and the inclusion of all teachers in the budget decisions so as to meet the 21st century needs of every classroom. Effectively and efficiently managing the complexity of everyday life is critical for staff to be able to focus its energy on improvement.

Standard 5A - School Resources and Budget

This document shows the funding LRES received from Title I and ESSER for the 2021-2022 school year. The dollars spent aligned with our school vision and SIP to ensure that each student is provided with adequate resources needed for academic achievement. The Personnel Request sheet is a breakdown of how some of the funding was spent on faculty and staff.

Standard 5B - Conflict Management and Resolution

KidTalk is the matrix we utilize to track student issues that could lead to behavioral problems. This is a shared document among LRES staff that aids in collaboration with staff and families to focus on growing positive choices in our students. Our goal is to intervene as quickly as possible when issues arise. We also aim to change behaviors and assist students in making better choices.

Standard 5C - Systematic Communication

Our main method of communication with our parents and community is through Class Dojo. I have sent out numerous posts, parent messages and video announcements. I have also recorded daily morning announcements videos for faculty, staff, and students.

Standard 5D - School Expectations for Students and Staff

LRES administrative team disseminates a digital news release each Friday for the upcoming week. This highlights the glows of the week as well as gives pertinent information for all faculty and staff.

On many occasions I was asked to submit the daily announcements via ClassDojo. The announcements are broadcast in each classroom daily for students, faculty and staff to view. They not only share the happenings for the day but repeatedly express the school expectations. Parents view the announcement from their devices at home.
