We ask that everyone who volunteers or donates funds and materials to our school log their contributions. This is important for several reasons.
If your student is an athlete, families are required to provide service at 2 events or participate in/donate to designated support programs offered for that season. The logs are how we track the fulfillment of this commitment. Unlogged hours cannot be counted.
Parent involvement is an important factor in the application process for many grants and programs. The volunteer log enables us to demonstrate how our families support the school.
Last, but by no means least, with people volunteering in 4 different locations, at different times, and in different capacities, I am not always aware of your contributions unless they are logged. Your generosity deserves to be recognized and this allows us to send you our thanks.
The logs are confidential - they will never be shared.
How TO: Logging Volunteer Hours
We ask parents to log their hours whenever they volunteer. Here are step by step instructions for doing that.
On the FACTS Family Website (RenWeb):
Go to the website https://factsmgt.com/login/
Once you are logged in, click on the menu symbol in the top left corner.
Scroll down the menu to FAMILY, then click on FAMILY HOME.
There will be a dropdown to select family members. Choose the member who did the volunteering.
Below the family member you will see information followed by a section titled “Service.” and to the right of the title, click on ADD+.
A form will appear that asks for basic information including time and description. Fill this out and then make sure to save.
If you are logging a donation or funds or materials, log hours as 1hr for each $10 spent or donated. In the future, we will also have you upload a picture of your receipt, but for now, the log is sufficient.
On the FACTS APP:
Log into the App
Click on the SERVICE Icon
Click on Add Service Hours
Fill in the information. When you get to description, select [Enter a custom value] and type a description
Click Done
