With so much going on around our school, raising funds and collecting donations is a must. The generosity of Oakstone Academy families, alumni, and community benefactors have allowed us to provide engaging programming for our students and their families, make necessary improvements and repairs to our school, show appreciation to our staff, and so much more. Here are some ways that you can give:
PALS frequently solicits funds and materials for a wide variety of projects and groups. PALS is responsible for many family engagement events, staff support and appreciation programs, and service projects within the school. PALS also maintains booster programs (see below) and assists staff with the acquisition of funding and materials for special projects.ย
You can donate to PALS at any time. Funds donated to PALS will be used to benefit the students, staff, and families of Oakstone (including Oakstone Academy and Oakstone Community School) though engagement activities, services projects, and staff support programs. To donate directly to PALS:ย
Checks can be made out to Oakstone Academy with PALS on the memo line. Cash and checks should be placed in an envelope labeled PALS Attn: Rebecca Grady. Donations can be turned in at any building.
ย Throughout the year, school groups conduct a number of fundraisers which need parent and community support. Fundraising supports the needs of student organizations, staff initiatives, PALS projects and events, and the school as a whole. You can view current fundraisers on the Events and Opportunities page. Please follow the instructions included in the fundraiser announcement to make your contribution. Each fundraiser flyer/announcement will include a contact that can be reached for questions or concerns.ย
All donations, material contributions, and fundraiser participation counts toward service hours. For every $10 a family contributes, they receive credit for 1 hour of service. In order to count these hours, they need to be logged in FACTS.
Upcoming PALS Fundraiser - Sept 17
Donations can be made by sending in cash or check in a clearly labeled envelope. The envelope should include your name and the destination (ie. PALS) or specific activity. The envelopes can be turned in to the front desk of any building. They will be collected, recorded, and a receipt will be sent to you.ย

We are frequently asked about electronic payment options such as Venmo and Paypal. Unfortunately, these options are not available to us. Cash and checks are the preferred methods for event/need based donations as they help us avoid processing charges assessed by credit companies.ย
