Caverna Middle School

Our school is excited to begin STEAM initiatives. The STEAM Innovation in Engineering program engages our students in project based learning using hands-on engineering applications. Students are exposed to Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) in a student-centered environment with an emphasis on literacy. All students will participate in foundational programs introducing computer science, self-directed passion-driven inquiry, and hands-on innovation. Students will be given the opportunity to further deepen their STEAM experiences with hands-on activities.  Parents and community members will be encouraged to participate in our STEAM outreach programs throughout the year. The STEAM Super Saturdays will prepare our students as creators of the future and 21st century problem-solvers.

The overall theme we try to have on each STEAM Saturday for Middle School is for the students to explore new things and to "Find Their Skill."
