Dear Parents,
We are excited to have Harvey Rabbit come to visit us on Wednesday. Harvey is a puppet that reminds us to make smart choices to build good characters. We will also be talking to the students about making smart choices this summer, and joining the summer reading incentive program at the public library. There are many special events and things the library does to encourage reading; they offer so many wonderful programs and prizes for reading in the summer months! Try to make time to take your child to get a library card in their name and ignite their love of reading! Remember, the administration would like everyone to be doing some type of summer reading this summer so they can hold on to all the literacy knowledge they have worked so hard to gain all year! Studies show that two levels of reading can be lost over the summer if children don't stay actively reading, so lets keep those brains active with good books this summer!!

If you receive the newspaper at your house or have newspaper sale flyers you aren't using from the mail this week, we would be so appreciative if you could send them to us!
We are sending something home on Friday that is fragile, and need the paper to protect them!

The Kindergarten Prayer Service - May 20th in the Cathedral at 9:00am

The morning of the prayer service students may be dropped off in the classroom beginning at 8:30.
After they are walked to the class, you may go and take your seats in the Cathedral Hall.
Names will be pulled in a lottery to assign pews in the church.
Each family will have 6 spots to fill!
