To Teach our students Roman Catholic values in an environment of academic excellence.
February 2, 2026
All 3 of these class leaders are allowed to bring a show-n-tell each day of this week.
I will be listening to students read to me this week to see if their reading levels have improved for Easy Reader levels, and working on individual KOR (report card) testing. Please remember, we want the students to do their best on the report card/observation tests, but not all the skills are expected to be "mastered" until they are taught or mastered by the end of the year. As we draw closer to 1st grade, we will be expecting more from them, and they will need to show us they are ready! We need them to pay close attention to their work, listen to directions carefully, and check for mistakes. This is necessary and will benefit them next year! At this point in the year they should be very familiar with the correct formation of letters and numbers. Reversals are normal at this age, but we should be seeing less and less. Please make sure they are completing extra practice at home if you are noticing reversals on their papers with letters or numbers; they need to be aware when they are forming them backwards! Also, don't forget to go over their classwork papers with them that come home on Wednesdays!
Our field trip will be next Monday. Students may checkout, and leave with you from the park, but your child is the only child that can leave with you; they cannot bring home a friend or neighbor. There will be no homework that night, so they won't need their book sacks. Thanks and have a great week!

Virtues in Practice
Our January virtue was "fortitude"
and our class recipient will be announced at Mass this week.

The students will have the option of bringing their own lunch or ordering Chick-fil-a. If you are choosing to have Chick-fil-a, Brittany Knight will be collecting the money and placing the order. If you plan to meet your child at the park and would like to bring lunch for yourself and your child that will be fine too. We do, however, ask you to still be aware of the peanut-free policy! Thank you!!

If your child is in need of a new Hydrapeak, leak-proof, approved water bottle, please use this link to purchase a new one!
