October 23-27
FIELD TRIP~GLOBAL WILDLIFE
We are excited about our upcoming field trip. I wanted to send a few reminders:
1. Please arrive at school at 6:45. Buses will leave campus at 7:00 a.m. promptly. There will be two buses at the front of the school on St. John Street. (Students whose number is 1-13 will ride the first bus and students 14-26 will ride the second bus.)
2. Activities book, games, pillows, blankets can be brought on the bus. NO ELECTRONIC devices will be allowed! Teachers are not responsible for lost items.
3. Please send your child with a peanut-free bag lunch, plenty of drinks, and snacks. (Drinks must have a screw top and/or a lid.) Students may enjoy snacks on the bus. Lunch will be eaten at Global Wildlife under a covered pavilion. Pack your child's lunch in a Ziploc and place it in a backpack along with their drinks and activities.
4. School uniforms MUST be worn.
5. We plan to return to campus around 2:30 PM. However, if traffic becomes an issue, our room moms will notify parents in the group text so arrangements can be made (especially for first bell bus riders). So, please have your phone available around that time.
6. All students will be given time to shop in the gift shop. If you want to send your child with money, please send it in a sealed envelope or Ziploc with your child's name. Place it in their backpack. Teachers are not responsible for holding any money.
