Transcripts

For University Program and MSTP Students:

All students are required to provide us with official transcripts which demonstrate completion of all work indicated on your AMCAS application; this includes verification of all degrees plus verification of any post-baccalaureate courses.  These transcripts will become a part of your permanent medical student record.  

Official transcripts bearing the seal and signature of the Registrar documenting these items are required.  Official transcripts must come directly from the institution. 

FAQs About Transcripts

Q. I already sent AMCAS all of my transcripts. Don't they send them to you?

A. No.  Transcripts submitted to AMCAS at the time of primary application filing were retained by that service for their use and were not sent to us.  We will need copies of your transcripts for your permanent record.  

Q. When should I begin to send my transcripts?

A1.  If you are still in undergrad/grad program, then wait until after you have graduated and your degree has been conferred (is documented on the final transcript).  

A2. Please WAIT to have your transcripts sent until the Commit to Enroll date for the University Program on June 1, 2026. These transcripts should be sent to the Admissions office following the completion of all academic work, and certainly no later than July 6, 2026.  

**We accepted e-transcripts and hard copies.

Q. Do you need transcripts for study abroad programs or AP classes?

A. Generally, no.  If your degree granting institution counted these courses toward your degree, you do not need to send us transcripts from these other institutions.   If you have one or two courses at another institution and that coursework is on your main institution's transcript where you received your degree than that is acceptable as well. 

Q. The online platform used by my school to send e-transcripts only has the address for CWRU Graduate Admissions. Can I just send my transcripts there?

A. No. You should only use casemed-admissions@case.edu or the physical address below. **Please let us know in advance if you are unable to send an e-transcript and must send a paper transcript.
