2026-2027 Academic Year
The Office of Financial Aid will begin accepting financial aid applications beginning in early 2026 through the university financial aid portal, My Financial Aid.
We will send you a notification along with detailed instructions when our financial process is open.
The deadline to apply for need-based institutional aid is March 16, 2026. Applications submitted after the deadline may not be awarded institutional aid. All accepted applicants are strongly encourage to submit their complete application as soon as they are able to ensure timely receipt of their Financial Aid Award Notification.
Important Financial Aid Dates:
October 2025: CSS Profile available for the 2026-27 academic year. CSS Profile school code: 1104
December 2025: FAFSA available for the 2026-27 academic year. FAFSA school code: 003137
January 2026: CWRU SOM Financial Aid Application is available on My Financial Aid
March 16, 2026: Deadline to submit all financial aid application materials
April 2026: Financial Aid Award Notifications distribution

May - June ---------------------------------------- Financial aid application available to accepted applicants from waitlist
June ---------------------------------------------- Accept financial aid award on My Financial Aid. Complete necessary loan documents.
Mid June ----------------------------------------- Enroll in direct deposit, waive optional fees, and grant excess financial aid permission on Student Information System
Late June ----------------------------------------- Tuition and fees charges viewable on SIS. Student medical plan waiver applied to SIS.
July 8 -------------------------------------------- First day of Orientation
July 15 -------------------------------------------- Financial aid funds disbursed to student tuition account on SIS and applied to tuition and fees billing
July 16 - 23 ---------------------------------------- Excess financial aid for living expenses refunded to students via direct deposit or check.
Sept 6 --------------------------------------------- Tuition due date (Fall semester)
