Students are expected to be prepared to work in class every day. Being prepared means having all the materials and assignments required that day.
Binder (one for all classes together) or folder, writing utensil - pencil or pen (preferably both). Binders/folders should contain all hand written notes, handouts, and returned work. Chromebooks will be used for the majority of written work. There is space provided for students to keep a portfolio binder in class. It is expected that students will keep all completed digital work in an appropriate class folder in their Google Drive.
Assignments due and assigned materials brought from home.
If students are unprepared:
Students who are coming to class unprepared will likely struggle to gain mastery of the standards being taught. Citizenship grades may also be lowered. Being unprepared for class on a regular basis would logically affect an academic grade negatively.
