Wind Ensemble Auditions for 2024-2025

All woodwind, brass and percussion musicians that will be attending Tesoro HS in the 24-25 school year are eligible, and encouraged to audition for our most advanced band class, the Wind Ensemble. 

The audition will include performing several excerpts. The audition will also include three parts:

• 2 Scales from the provided scale list

• Chromatic Scale (demonstrating full range of instrument)

• Required Excerpts (Incantation and Dance)

Auditions will be held April 24th -27th 3:45-7:00pm. Current students may choose to audition during tutorial on 4/25 or 4/27 as well. Please see Mr. Smith to schedule an appointment for tutorial.

Students currently in 8th grade or transferring from another school can schedule an after school appointment time via the form above.
