FIRST! Fill out the Google form prior to attending the clinics & try outs!
Front Ensemble (Pit) Tryouts
Front Ensemble (Pit) Tryouts
New and returning pit members will be asked to prepare the following two exercises. "Basic Scales" and "Dirt" with a metronome.
For "Front Line" instrumentalists, please be prepared to play at least 2 Sharp keys and 2 Flat keys for both exercises with appropriate shaping.

Battery Tryouts
Battery Tryouts
For new battery students trying out for bass/cymbals, they will be asked to play Executioner 1 & 2, all of the one-handed exercises (8 on a hand, Double beat, 4321), and Sprinkler with a metronome marking time.
Students trying out for Snare/Tenor will be asked to play all the one-handed exercises, 16th Note Timing, Triplet Diddle, and 16th Note Accent with a metronome marking time.
*if you have your own please bring your sticks and practice pads. Tesoro has a few for students to borrow for the clinic and try-outs.
