music club hopes and dreams was to have an extension of SY 2021-2022 but that didn't look like it was going to happen.  so our focus became new genres; new journeys. we new our previous students might be ready to jam once the school year began, so we turned our focus to our incoming freshmen.  we partnered with incoming freshmen in the freshmen connection at NGHS to showcase what music club is about and more importantly that we want new genres to be created when new students hopefully decide to join. 

we were able to tap into our talent by getting help from current member carlos. Here Nick and Carlos are warming up before they jam for nghs freshmen. 

as freshman connection students walked out of lunch sessions, nick and carlos jammed to music they had worked on the previous school year.  this worked out great because carlos is an upperclassmen and freshman connection mentor. he knows the freshman and he knows what music club has to offer. carlos was a great liasion this summer. 

here nick and carlos are hosting new students who chose music club as their "elective" during freshmen connection.
