To have fun while learning about, growing, and caring for plants
To spend time together getting up close and personal with plants, both indoors and outdoors
To help our neighborhood practice Food Sovereignty, defined by La Via Campesina as "the right of peoples to healthy and culturally appropriate food produced through ecologically sound and sustainable methods, and their right to define their own food and agriculture systems" while honoring our diverse cultural foodways
To grow healthy and delicious produce for the North-Grand community to be distributed through the campus Love Fridge
To repair, build, and maintain the garden as a loving, relaxing, and meditative space for students and their families to enjoy, for years into the future
