About Myoko

At Canyons Myoko, there is an exciting opportunity to take an active role in the shaping of an up-and-coming new ski school.

The ski school is based in Myoko Akakura, a traditional Japanese town where we have built close relationships with the locals. Akakura town offers a wide range of authentic Japanese bars and restaurants and is one of the oldest established ski areas in the world, with direct links to Tokyo less than 3 hours away.

Operating from a well-established hotel gives us access to a wide and varied clientele from all around the world. Additionally, they have the best onsen, live music bar, and coffee in town, conveniently located just a 7-minute walk from the nearest chairlift. Working with Canyons Myoko offers the chance to instruct at various resorts nearby, such as Akakura Onsen and Kanko, Ikenotaira, Suginohara, and Seki Onsen, all within a 20-minute radius.

With Myoko cementing its place as one of the snowiest places on earth, with an average of over 15m of light, fluffy Japanese powder snow, Canyons Myoko strives to provide the best snow experience anywhere in Japan.

We deal solely in private lessons, enabling us to personalise each client's experience with their instructor. This sets you up to deliver a premium guest experience while maximizing your fulfilment in teaching.
