Description
As the first point of contact via email, or in person, a positive and friendly attitude with a passion for snowsports is a must. Our agents deal with enquiries and bookings for both the ski school and our backcountry operations. Confident computer skills, as well as strong written and spoken English, are essential. Prior experience in customer relations, reservations or the snowsports industry is recommended to apply for this position. The ability to speak Japanese is not necessary, but is a bonus.
Preferred Qualifications
Customer relations, sales or other reservations work experience
Prior experience in snowsports schools or an appreciation of how a ski/snowboard lessons are conduct
Strong competency with computers
First Aid
Strong written and spoken English
Written and spoken Japanese would be a bonus
Guest Services Supervisor
Description
Supervisors at Canyons are responsible for the day-to-day running of our reservations desk and team at our resorts. Strong communications skills, confident leadership and an ability to quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment are qualities we are looking for.
The role will involve daily organisation of scheduling lessons and rostering instructors and guest service agents. Supervisors will be expected to lead by example in all areas of our school. They should look after our staff’s wellbeing, support effective communication through the company and management as well as being able to develop guest satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications
Leadership or management experience
Customer relations, sales or other reservations work experience
Prior experience in snowsports schools or an appreciation of how a ski/snowboard lessons are conduct
Strong competency with computers
First Aid
Strong written and spoken English
Written and spoken Japanese would be a bonus
Backcountry Reservation Manager
Description
The Backcountry reservations manager will be the key link between clients and guides. Their primary responsibility will be taking client leads and inquiries through to a complete BC tour booking that the guides can take over.
The manager will have control of the process and be able to implement changes that help the reservation process. They will be responsible for communicating with all clients, gathering correcting information, and relaying all necessary information back to clients with the end goal of preparing the clients and guides for the tour. The manager will be responsible for updating and maintaining all information, processes and records related to the BC division of the Canyons operation in Nozawa.
