Myoko Operations Manager
Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Snowsports Operations Manager located in Myoko Kogen. The Snowsports Operations Manager will oversee daily operations, manage staff, schedule activities, and ensure the safety and satisfaction of our guests. Additional duties include coordinating with other departments, overseeing guest services, and championing staff welfare.
This position offers a unique opportunity to take full ownership of this branch of the Canyons Snowsports operation. The successful candidate will have the autonomy to lead and develop the operation, with the freedom to implement strategies and systems that support its continued growth and success.
Required Qualifications
Experience in snowsports operations, including skiing and snowboarding, as well as a strong understanding of safety protocols.
Proven management and leadership skills, with the ability to supervise staff and coordinate activities.
Excellent communication and customer service skills for interacting with guests and addressing their needs.
Organizational and multitasking abilities to manage schedules, coordinate with other departments, and handle administrative tasks.
Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
Written and spoken Japanese would be a bonus
Backcountry Reservation Manager
Description
The Backcountry reservations manager will be the key link between clients and guides. Their primary responsibility will be taking client leads and inquiries through to a complete BC tour booking that the guides can take over.
The manager will have control of the process and be able to implement changes that help the reservation process. They will be responsible for communicating with all clients, gathering correcting information, and relaying all necessary information back to clients with the end goal of preparing the clients and guides for the tour. The manager will be responsible for updating and maintaining all information, processes and records related to the BC division. The successful candidate will be located at our head BC operations in Nozawa
