Need to Convert to Google Files from Office 365

Those who had Office installed but are moving forward with Google Apps will retain that copy of Office on their laptops with limited functionality. You’ll be able to open and view a Powerpoint, Word, or Excel file, however, you won’t be able to edit or save changes. 

When you move your existing Office 365 files to your Google Drive, you can convert them to Google files or open them as Office docs. Once converted you’ll have both documents. 

To make the transition easier we recommend that you create a folder to contain your Office docs after they are converted.
