Creating a YouTube Request

The YouTube Process

By default, YouTube classifies a lot of its content as 'restricted.'  Some of this content is appropriate for the classroom and a great portion is not.   If you encounter a YouTube video that is restricted, but you wish to show in your classroom, you can submit a help desk request for the technology team to permit the video to be viewed.  Please know that video requests can take up to 24 hours to be fulfilled.

1. Click the Create a Help Desk Ticket

2. Choose "Other Requests"

3. Find the "YouTube Request" button
