This is your LINQ budget report pulled by your bookkeeper for Title I (050) funds only for the year 2025.
Complete by October 1, 2024, only if the budget is approved on or before October 1, 2023. If the budget is approved during October, you will receive a notice from Jeni McNulty detailing when to pull and upload the budget.
Parent and Family Engagement Event (PAC 2)
Participating schools implement strategies to build parent capacity for supporting student learning at home. Engagement events include one or more of the following:
providing parents with information and/or activities to help students at home
providing parents with training on literacy and using technology, as appropriate, to foster parent involvement
providing other reasonable support for parental involvement activities as parents may request
Engagement events allow parents to become equal partners with the school and build communication between the home and the school. Title I schools have a minimum of two schoolwide meetings/events per year. (Element 5, 6,11)
Documentation needed:
PAC 2 Form (will force you to make a copy of the form for your school use).
Evidence of advertisement. Include examples of information shared via social media, newsletters, websites, or other means, to build parent capacity.
Include a copy of an alternative language/format for advertisement and meeting materials as appropriate for parents with limited English proficiency and/or parents with disabilities.
Dated records from the meeting or events at which parents were provided information, activities, and/or training, including agenda, meeting notes, and sign-in sheets showing affiliation and position of participants and signatures. Minutes should include detailed notes of parent comments/input.
Slide presentation and other materials used and shared during the event. If there are different materials used based on grade levels and/or content areas, include a representational sample and include descriptions in the meeting minutes of additional materials provided. If you use a video, include a link to the video in PAC 2 form. Video may be uploaded to the documentation folder separately.
Signed copy of the Parent Activity form approval for Title I funds spent. (Must be signed by the principal and Title I Director.)

The meeting must be held during the first semester.
Complete and upload documentation within two weeks of the event.
Report Card Attestation for 2024-2025
Each parent is provided information annually detailing the academic achievement of the school. The NC School Report Card is used to provide parents with the most recent school information. Parents are given information on how to access the website for the school report card. Parents without internet access must be provided an alternate means of accessing the report card or provided with a copy or screenshots of the snapshot/summary. (Element 6)

Copy of web page showing access to the school report card. Include a copy of an alternative language/format for a letter, flyer, or materials as appropriate for parents with limited English proficiency and/or parents with disabilities.
Describe the process for notifying parents of what protocol to follow in the event they have no digital access.
Documentation should go in the February folder since postcards are being sent to schools with district and school QR codes to send home.

TSI/CSI Letters
If your school is a TSI or CSI school, letters must be sent home by October 29.

mCLASS Student Achievement Level and Growth (K-3, and 3/4 Transition Students)
Each parent is provided information on the level of achievement and academic growth of their student on each of the state academic assessments. Parents are given information on how to interpret academic levels and academic growth. (Element 6)
BOY
Schools compose a letter on school letterhead explaining the mCLASS assessments, achievement levels, and growth. Include information on how to read the reports will be sent home with students in a letter format called Home Connect.
Schools provide individual student reports to each parent in Home Connect. Individual reports are released on the timeline required by the state or under local decisions. For mCLASS, the reports are released/sent to parents in the Home Connect format following the three benchmark assessments.
On letterhead explain in detail, when the individual test information for your students was made available. How you disseminated the information when you disseminated the information, and what languages you provided the information for your parents.

The description in the form of how the student achievement level information/report was distributed and the date(s) distributed.
Copy of letter, flyer, or material provided to parents. Include a copy of an alternative language/format for letters, flyers, or materials as appropriate for parents with limited English proficiency and/or parents with disabilities.
Include a copy of a Home Connect letter with the student information redacted.
