Sessions at the 'Warm Hub' in the Community Centre

Thursday 9th October - P4/5 from Rasharkin Primary and P5 from St. Patrick's Primary had the opportunity to interact together with the elderly in our community, playing board games and sharing stories. The children brought some sweets to share with the elderly during the session. Check out the photos below!

Thursday 16th October - To celebrate Shared Education Day, P4/5 from Rasharkin Primary and P5 from St. Patrick's Primary had the opportunity again to interact together with the elderly in our community, playing games and sharing stories. The elderly reminisced about what school was like for them and compared the similarities and differences as to what school is like now.

Community Planting 

Pupils from P4/5 Rasharkin Primary and P5 St. Patrick's, joined together to participate in an Easter quiz with members of local community. 

The pupils then decorated their own flower pots and planted some spring seeds and bulbs. They all had great fun!

P4/5 Trip to the Transport Museum, Cultra

Pupils from P5 St. Patrick's and P4/5 Rasharkin Primary, enjoyed an end of year trip to the Transport Museum in Cultra!

The boys and girls enjoyed touring the museum and in particular looking at the different trains and sitting inside the carriages.
