In a Family & Community Relationships class (ECSE421), I created a family resource plan for a family of four. This resource plan allowed me to experience what it is like to appropriately match community resources to the needs of an individual or family. The attached image is an ecomap of the family. The document is a full resource plan, which explains mine and my team's rational behind the community resource chosen for each family need.

In an effort to make myself more aware of the resources available to families in need near me, I researched services in the Rexburg area. The list of resources I compiled included resources for families in need of health and welfare, counseling, support groups for specific disabilities, and transportation. While this is a good list, the most important part of this project was that I gained the skills needed to discover useful resources in the community of the future families I may work with.
