This workshop offers ELA & Social Studies educators practical strategies that leverage technology to enhance student writing and research skills. We will explore innovative ideas, effective techniques, and thoughtful plans for incorporating Web-based resources, G Suite for Education, and new and emerging technologies into classroom instruction. Participants will be introduced to tools such as SAS Writing Reviser, Revision History Analytics, Mercury Reader, Mentimeter, Google Keep, & Newsela.

Tom Driscoll's Bio
Tom Driscoll is the Director of Digital Learning for the Bristol Warren Regional School District and Instructor for EdTechTeacher. Previously, Tom taught high school social studies for eight years in northeastern Connecticut. Tom regularly speaks at conferences, consults with school districts, and has authored chapters for several books on instructional technology including the ISTE publication "Flipped Learning: Gateway to Student Engagement.”
