Chromebooks & Backpacks & Red Folders

Reminder: Students should bring a backpack, red communication folders, and their Chromebook EVERY DAY to school! Students should also have winter clothing on (jackets, gloves, hats) until it warms up later this Spring!

If you are in need of a backpack or new folder, reach out to your child's teacher or Mekayla Belcher, our FRC at Roby.

In the event of weather conditions that will prohibit school from meeting in person, we will provide the following educational opportunities for students.  Please monitor the weather and we will make a school-wide decision about sending home chromebooks.  During traditional NTI, students MUST participate in the google meet, turn in work, or families must communicate with the teacher regarding when child is completing the work by 3:30pm to be considered present or “participating” for that day.

We communicate with families via the following app! You may also use this app to communicate with the principal and counselor!

Parent Needs & Concerns

If you have a need or a concern that requires attention, you have multiple methods to gain the support that you or your child needs.

CARE is important to our school community. We ask that you give our teachers and administrators time, through the process above, to resolve any needs or concerns that arise.

Golden Ticket Event in March

We are continuing to reward our students for meeting our CARE expectations with Golden Ticket events throughout the year! These CARE expectations extend beyond the classroom to wellness, the bus, the cafeteria and during dismissal. Our CARE expectations are as follows:

Care for Self For example: persist through challenges, attend to task, try our best, ask for help, make safe decisions, etc.

Care for Others For example: saying please & thank you, safe actions, respect others space, return books on time, refrain from interrupting, using appropriate/safe voice levels per activity (i.e. voice level 0 in the halls at all times), etc.

Care for our Space For example: pick up after myself and trash that I see instead of walking past it, returning items to their place, using restroom facilities correctly, being gentle with school items, closing doors gently, etc.

What is it? Students with a "Golden Ticket" are able to participate in our Golden Ticket Reward Events.  Sometimes Caregivers will offer an an experience around cooking, yoga, puzzles, board games, chess, art, dance, cookie decorating, coding, origami, soccer, basketball, breakout games, jewelry making, rock painting, scrapbooking, minecraft, perler beads, comic book creators, Kona Ice, and many more. Other times, our Golden Ticket event will be a dance or talent show.

When are the events?

How does it work? Only students who meet the Golden Ticket event criteria are eligible to attend their respective dance. GOOD NEWS: Students get the opportunity to reset after each Golden Ticket event. All students have the opportunity to earn this event. We reset data and all students were eligible on  1.3.24 but must maintain this eligibility.

Volunteers: If you would like to assist with the dance please reach out to Ms. London or our PTA! Parents who are volunteering will not necessarily be assigned the group their child is assigned to and must have current background check on file with the school.

Transfer Window Opening!

Priority window is open December 1st through January 15th! Other BC residents that are not in the priority group may apply after Jan. 15th!
