A year has now passed.
Bigee was sitting in his bed. He was nervous, because in two months he would go to a big, famous program called “Kings and Queens of Every Kind” in The Waterway. It was a two-year program in which everyone who participated was taught how to be a king. Usually, you'd only go to “Kings and Queens of Every Kind” around five years before you were supposed to become a king (or queen), but Malik wanted Bigee to be prepared early.
By the way, Bigee was going to be the King of Bogocalic, and not Kai-Lou, only because since the day he stole the Bigenight stones, no one ever saw him again.
Here he was, standing in front of a submarine that would take him straight to the “Kings and Queens of Every Kind” program. All packed, all ready.
“EVERYBODY UP!” said the captain.
Bigee looked at Malik and Lighta, hugged them both, and then headed to the submarine.
When the submarine arrived at The Waterway, Bigee started heading to the program. On his way, he saw a bakery shop. He went in and got himself a little doughnut. The doughnut was soft, sweet, and it was glazed with shiny red frosting.
When Bigee finally arrived at the program, he saw a boy talking to a teacher.
“He must be another student,” he thought.
“Hi.” Someone kindly interrupted Bigee’s thoughts. “Do you know where your room is?”
“N-no.” Bigee replied.
