In this page, you will be able to learn all about the popular video game Undertale. This post is full of fun facts and tips so if you're a person who is crazy for those, then you might just be in heaven! Or maybe you just had too much butterscotch pie. ;) (and yes, this paragraph IS written in Comic Sans. If you don't know the reference.....you're gonna have a bad time)

What is Undertale?

Undertale is a 2D video game in the style of an old retro RPG game. RPG stands for Role Playing Game. It tells the story of monsters that have been trapped underground by victorious humans. One day, a human falls into the monstrous land and has to find their way out.

How to play

The game consists of several battles for you to encounter. You can defeat the monster, spare it, or do numerous act commands like Scream, Flirt, Cheer or Flex. The game features 3 routes that the story can take. There’s the Pacifist, Neutral, and Genocide route. The game all depends on YOU!

Let me explain, Sparing (or fleeing from) every monster results in the best ending. Manually killing every monster in the game (which is actually pretty difficult to do) results in the worst, but pretty secretive, ending: the Genocide Ending. The neutral ending is if you kill a lot of monsters but you also spare a good amount of them--the game doesn't give you the true ending but a majorly fair ending instead.

Fun Facts

There is also a secret 4th route in the game called HARD MODE that replaces the monsters with harder variations of themselves and the game ends when the original demo would have ended.
Undertale was created by Toby Fox who worked on the game mostly by himself.
Undertale was heavily inspired on a Nintendo game called Earthbound that Fox enjoyed playing as a kid.
Sans' iconic Megalovania song was originally composed around 2008 for Fox's Earthbound fan game called the Halloween Hack.
There is a small chance in the game that Sans will call you on the phone randomly and ask if your fridge is running.
The final boss in the game, Flowey, is one of the only characters in the game who actually talks. Everybody else speaks in a speech bubble. During the genocide route, Flowey says, ''That's a WONDERFUL idea!'' which was actually a sample from an old McDonald's commercial starring Ronald McDonald.
You're able to take a snow piece from a snowman. Even though it seems useless, it's actually one of the most healthy items in the game.

Tips

If you ARE planning on killing monsters in Undertale, you should equip a stronger weapon like the frying pan or the empty gun.

in some fights, ACTing is sometimes the key to winning.
Always pay attention for something light blue in any fight. if you stand still you can pass through blue attacks.
