Chapter 3

The second Kai-Lou put his hands on the bag—BOOM! 

A storm started, and lightning struck. Kai-Lou froze, his eyes flashing around with greed. Bigee looked at Kai-Lou, and it seemed like that was the only expression on his face.

“What are you doing!?” Bigee yelled.

Kai-Lou’s heart was beating fast, and he was gasping rapidly. Bigee probably didn’t know this yet, but at that very moment—the exact moment the lightning struck—a curse was placed on his brother, Kai-Lou. That curse allowed a secret, evil source of power to control him, making him steal the Bag of Bigenight stones, run into the woods, and leave Bigee confused in the temple.
