Yes, FedEx offers daily pickup or on-call pickup based on each library's shipping volume. During the onboarding process, IDS will work directly with each member library to determine the most appropriate pickup option.

Yes, members can request times and days for pick ups.
Does FedEx ship to PO boxes?
Does FedEx ship to PO boxes?
FedEx, with its standard services like FedEx Ground and FedEx Home, cannot deliver to PO Boxes because they require a physical address and signature for delivery.
Additionally, the USPS has a monopoly on delivering mail to mailboxes, including P.O. boxes, meaning other carriers like FedEx cannot deliver directly to them.

Yes, IDS allows shipments to each of these locations and FedEx will deliver to these locations.

Yes, FedEx does ship internationally; however, IDS does not allow international shipments at this time. IDS has preset the FedEx software to only allow shipments in the United States and Puerto Rico.
FedEx seems to take quite a bit longer to arrive than packages sent via UPS. Does FedEx have a map similar to UPS's that shows transit times for various areas?

IDS is happy to make the transit profile available from the packages shipped with FedEx during the pilot project (March 2024 through Feb 2025).
