Mrs. Hursey has worked in the Bryan County School System for 20+ years.  She began her career teaching English Language Arts and became an Instructional Technology Specialist in 2001.  After working as an ITS for fifteen years at Bryan County Middle School, Mrs. Hursey made the move to MES and discovered a love for elementary education.  

Mrs. Hursey is available to teach with you, help plan lessons and work with groups in your classroom.  While providing technology support often means solving problems and helping with devices, Mrs. Hursey's first love is to work alongside you & your students as you learn & grow using technology.  Mrs. Hursey is always ready to talk through lesson ideas and help you plan exciting ways to utilize technology in your classroom.  

Mrs. Hursey holds a degree in English, Curriculum and Instruction, and a degree in Instructional Technology.  She has three children who all attend Bryan County Schools.  Her son Wilson is a graduate of RHHS, Wyatt is a Senior at RHHS and Ella Grace is a Sophmore at RHHS.  In her spare time, you will find Mrs. Hursey spending time with her family, cooking, exercising, or spending weekends at the lake!
