Your best resource for college exploration is the internet! Almost every college has an extensive website with tons of information and virtual tours. Start there - once you have a few in mind, it is really important to visit. There are online search engines that can get you started. Here are a few to try:

There is also a college search engine built right into the Naviance platform for students. Drop down the "Colleges" tab and select "Supermatch College Search".
Resources here at Black River:
Each fall Black River brings in 25+ representatives from a variety of schools for visits. The calendar can be found on the homepage of this website.
Events in the area:
Holland Area College Fair
Each September Hope College hosts a college fair with reps from all over the country. This year, the event will be held at the DeVos Fieldhouse on Hope College's campus on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 from 6-7:30pm. Students can find out more information about the event at hope.edu/collegenight. There is no need to pre-register, students can choose to share information with the colleges they are interested in during the evening.
