This event can be very upsetting and emotional; the content in each section may be new information for you or resonate with an experience you have had yourself or in a work situation.
The information we will share may not be what we like to think about, but the subjects are something we will likely encounter in a career working with women and families and it is important to expose you to the topic areas covered. We will do everything we can to deliver these messages sensitively, with thought and compassion.
We want to make sure you know how to access support if the event is upsetting for you.
The student support coordinators/ module leaders/ lecturers from the faculties of your studies will be aware that you have attended, your attendance will be monitored and named module leaders/ lecturers will be available to speak to during the event.
If you do not feel safe watching the webinar in your home, or are unable to attend, please speak to your module leader/ lecturer/ personal tutor to share this information.
We would like you to be mindful that you may feel low as you leave the study day, plan something nourishing to do when you leave to make you feel uplifted.
