Menopause in the Workplace

At Oxford Brookes University, we are promoting awareness and support for individuals experiencing menopause in the workplace. We understand the profound impact that menopause can have on individuals' professional lives, and we are committed to creating an environment that fosters understanding, empathy, and practical accommodations.

Our approach involves providing resources, training, and networks to ensure that all employees feel valued, respected, and supported throughout their menopausal journey. We recognise that menopause is a natural part of life for a significant number of colleagues, and by normalising conversations and implementing supportive policies, we aim to cultivate a workplace culture that embraces diversity and promotes well-being.

Menstrual Equity

At Oxford Brookes University, we are dedicated to promoting menstrual equity within the workplace and the wider university. We believe that all individuals should have access to the resources, support, and accommodations they need to manage menstruation comfortably and confidently. Our commitment to menstrual equity involves providing menstrual products in accessible locations and offering awareness-raising initiatives to combat stigma and discrimination. By prioritising menstrual equity, we strive to create an inclusive and supportive community where everyone can thrive.
