Page numbers aren't included, and they are an essential feature of magazine pages.
The full stop from "All Eyes on Her." in the double-page spread may not be necessary.
Good colours and layout- accurate to the chosen genre.
I love how the colours turned out, as I think it is a sophisticated colour palette that is rich but not too bright, successfully tailored to my target audience.
The layout of the cover lines looks professional and the words fit well together, both the bigger text as well as the smaller text.
The fonts I chose work well together and successfully complement each other. The combination of serif and sans serif makes it look sophisticated but not overwhelming.
The proportions of the model to the rest of the cover could be better- I found the models on fashion magazines usually take up more space on the cover or it is a full-body shot of them, but I have landed in between that.
Considering it is a fashion magazine, perhaps an outfit that calls more attention would be more suitable. However, I did choose to have the focus be on the model instead of the clothing (which is not unusual for fashion and lifestyle magazines).
I think the picture that I used was a great choice as it's a good picture and it really makes it clear that the focus is on the featured "celebrity" (my model). The picture being in black and white also really makes it pop, especially with her dark hair and top contrasting her skin and the curtain behind her.
I also believe the layout of the contents was a success, as I really like how the page numbers are bigger and a different font, and it's all mostly symmetrical.
The location for the month and year of the issue is something I was never very sure of, and I'm still not convinced it is in the best place it could be (next to the magazine name).
For the 'On the Cover' section, there may have been too much information, as I found myself trying to limit the products included at the end.
The picture I chose works great for this layout, and it's also a great shot.
Though I didn't plan on it at first, the use of the cursive font worked out great to bring some variety into the product rather than it always just being simple serif and sans serif fonts.
Perhaps the model should've taken up more of the spread as she's mostly only on one page.
