This week we will be learning about Time! Watch the song video to find out about the clock face. Can you join in with the song?
Today we would like you to make your own clock face. If you have a paper plate you can use that or if not, have a go at drawing a circle and writing the numbers like Nicola has done in the photos below. We have also attached a clock face template that you can print out if you have a printer either.
Nicola drew the time that was showing on her clock at home. Can you say what time it shows?

Phonics/Reading
Go to the Phonics tab and practise your Set 2 and Set 3 sounds!
This week we would like you to practise reading real and alien words. Even though you do not have to take part in the Year 1 Phonics Screening Check this year, we think it would be great if you can practise reading these words so you are confident going into Year 2 knowing how to read using the Set 2 and Set 3 sounds you have learnt.
Follow this link to bring you to the second set of words to practise this week - 2018.
Create your own OVCP by drawing it in your yellow workbooks - We can't wait to see them!
Mariam has drawn the beginning of her story map below.

Please practise the following spellings today

Without looking at the screen, write down the word and ask your parent to check if the spelling is correct.
