Today we are going to be learning about nouns. A noun is the name of a person, place or thing.
Can you play I spy and think of the different things you can see in your house? You might be able to see a TV, sofa, chairs, mummy and daddy.
Please watch this video to see different examples of nouns.
Activity: At home can you choose five nouns e.g. cup, chair, garden, mummy etc, and record a flip grid video telling your friends what nouns you have chosen.
Without looking at the screen, write down the word and ask your parent to check if the spelling is correct.

How do trees change throughout the year?
We learned about deciduous and evergreen trees. Deciduous trees the leaves fall off of the tree in the autumn and are all gone by the winter.
Task: Draw a deciduous tree in each of the four seasons. Think about how they change in each season.
Challenge: Dress up in clothes of your favourite season and make a video on flip grid to tell us about your work. (I like wearing my thick winter coat and my woolly hat and gloves because they keep me warm when it is cold.
