English
We have been learning about the story of A Midsummer Night's Dream. We hope you enjoyed acting out the story yesterday. Today we would like you to discuss how the characters were feeling in different parts of the story.
Can you tell your parents the answer to these questions and explain why. Try to say full sentences when answering the questions. Example: Kind Queen Titania felt upset because...
How did Titania feel when Oberon was trying to take the little boy?
How did the little boy feel?
When Puck put the spell on Titania, how do you think he felt?
How do you think the workers were feeling when Bottom was being bossy to them? Why do you think they felt like that? Was he being kind?
How do you think Bottom felt when Titania fell in love with him?
How did Titania feel when she fell in love with Bottom?
How did Oberon feel when he saw Titania was now in love with Bottom? Why did he feel like that?
Remember to use exciting vocabulary when describing the characters feelings rather than saying 'happy' or 'sad' or 'angry'. What words can you use instead?

Art: Can you draw a portrait of your mum or dad using the style of Julian Opie?
Below are the examples of when we drew portraits of the Royal family using this style!
You can take a picture of your work and upload the picture to Class Dojo for your teacher to see!
Remember to use simple lines and dots for the features of the face such as the eyes, nose and mouth. Don't forget to outline your portrait using black or a dark colour.
