At BMS, we use technology to enhance education without losing the essential human touch. We focus on creating well-rounded, confident thinkers for the 21st century. While we use learning apps, personal connections, and community are at the heart of our approach. We prioritize social and emotional learning, self-regulation, deep thinking, discussion skills, empathy, collaboration, and trust. Our diverse community of students and teachers from around the world enriches our school experience.
We see a future where human interaction supports our students, not artificial intelligence. That's why we carefully integrate a few well-tested learning apps into our program for limited daily use, with more encouraged at home. These adaptive learning apps are like vitamins that complement a healthy lifestyle. They adjust to each student's skill level, helping them progress in small steps. For example, a student might excel at three-digit multiplication but find three-digit division challenging, or they might understand poetry but struggle with computer technology. These apps help close those gaps and support our students' growth.

The majority of our learning apps are accessible through the Clever Portal- once your child is logged into this, they can access the apps by clicking the icon through their class dashboards.
A few apps are accessed slightly differently. For example, in Generation Genius, your teacher will share their screen to show you the videos. Some apps like GimKit require a class code for each session which your child's teacher will send over in the session.
However you access the learning apps, your child's class teacher will be there to help guide them during the session if needed, and you can always give parent support a call if they need some more assistance.
