Brilliant Microschools is an ACS WASC-accredited private school based in Florida. This means that by enrolling with us, you are putting your child on track to achieve a globally recognized and accepted high school diploma. We also offer options for students who don't need or want to complete the diploma requirements. In such cases, we can provide a completion certificate, which is a valuable document but doesn't fully meet the diploma requirements if that’s what the student prefers.
Our goal is to understand your family's objectives, knowing they may change over time, and help you achieve them by adapting our approach to fit your needs. No matter where you are, you will get that diploma and be part of our school.
If you're in Florida, using our school to meet state requirements is straightforward. In most states, it's just as simple—no extra steps required. However, in a few states, you may need to send paperwork to your State Department of Education or Local District to confirm your homeschooling status, even if your child is enrolled with us. Essentially, this process affirms your responsibility for your child's education before transferring oversight to our school.

States across the country now offer what are called school choice funds. These support families in taking charge of their child's education, and can take the form of tax credits or direct financial assistance. These funds are designed to help cover educational expenses and provide financial support to families, ensuring more options and flexibility in education. Depending on what funding you are using, this will either be paid directly to us by your state or will be reimbursed to you once you have submitted an invoice. No matter the process, we can help!
For example, in Florida, there's the Step Up for Students / FES-UA program. Currently, we support only the Unique Abilities (UA) option. After you pay your tuition, you’ll receive an invoice from us that includes all the necessary details. You can then submit that invoice to Step Up for reimbursement, up to the maximum amount allowed.
Some of our families in Florida are also receiving reimbursement through PEP by using our services as part-time tutoring. We encourage you to confirm directly with these scholarship organizations to ensure eligibility.

We are currently approved vendors in Arizona, New Hampshire, Arkansas (ESA), and through the HOPE Scholarship in West Virginia. We're also in the process of registering in several other states. For the upcoming school year, you can expect even more options to use your state funds to support your child’s education.
