We show up to the races to go fast and take names. True.
But we're also the team other racers envy. Because we cheer the loudest for our teammates. We pick each other up when we fall. We offer a high five and "great job" to every younger kid who is just starting out in this sport. We know that progress is so much more important than each individual placement or run time. And every time we go out there, no matter the result, we're the ones having the most fun.
We'll remember every medal. But we'll keep the memories and the friends. So, let's make great ones.
