BSF relies on volunteers to put on successful races and build a thriving community. There are many ways to get involved from helping set up travel room blocks to getting your race officials license. No race experience required for most volunteer needs!
Participation in BSF requires volunteer participation or a tax-deductible donation each year. Learn about the requirements here.
Each race day requires 34–45 volunteers in addition to our coaching staff. Volunteers will receive a lift ticket (if you don’t have a season pass) as well as a day ticket voucher. You can volunteer at non-Bridger races and earn ticket vouchers there too!
Not all volunteer roles require skiing, and don't worry—we'll provide training to ensure you're prepared!

From putting up safety netting to slipping the training course to tail-gunning while freeskiing, helping coaches on the hill allows them to focus more time with the athletes and improves safety and training outcomes. Plus, it's fun and a great way to learn more about ski racing!
You don't need to be an expert, just willing to spend a few runs on the training hill. Stop by the start or timing shack and ask the coaches if they need help that day.

The alpine committee is a group of coaches, BSF board members and parents who actively volunteer time to support the alpine program on an on-going basis. Our mission is to support coaches on and off the hill, build community and pass down knowledge.
The Alpine Committee is responsible for organizing:
race and travel logistics
the year end banquet for Comp and Devo teams
volunteers for the various BSF races and events
educational and social connection events for Alpine, such as the parent volunteer training, tuning and waxing sessions, team dinners, on- and off-hill enrichment
general cheerleading and support for all alpine athletes
All are invited! If your interested in joining the Alpine Committee, reach out to alpine.committee@bridgerskifoundation.org
