In meritorious cases, a graduating student who have previously enrolled and fully attended a course that is a prerequisite to another may be allowed to enroll in and attend the advance/post-requisite course for credit, without having passed or earned credit for the prerequisite course. A student is considered graduating if he/she is completing all the academic requirements f the program during the semester/term.

How to apply for Waiving Prerequsites
A qualified graduating student shall fill out BPSU-ROF-015 Application for Waiver of Prerequisites.
The application shall be accompanied by an Academic Program Evaluation to determine if he/she had previously enrolled and attended the prerequisite course or a certification from the student’s instructor in the prerequisite course that the student had fully attended the said course.
When approved, the student shall enroll the prerequisite course simultaneously with the course to which the former is a prerequisite.
If the student failed to pass the prerequisite course, he/she will not receive any credit for the corresponding advanced course(s) in conformity with the regulation on prerequisite courses set by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
