Instruction
At Lincoln Elementary we use a variety of instructional methods that help to meet each student’s needs. These help them work to the best of their abilities and target different learning styles. Being a K-2 building we use hands-on strategies that help all types of young learners. We learn through whole group, small group and one on one activities. Technology and movement are infused throughout their day. Some strategy examples are cooperative learning, peer modeling, STEM, read alouds, math talk, grand conversations, games, stations, centers, and problem solving. These strategies vary depending on classroom and individual student needs.
