Note: When using Chromebooks to test, do NOT use Go Guardian.
It is considered a violation of testing protocols and confidentiality to use it while students are testing.
NSCAS on Chromebooks
Turn on the Chromebook
DO NOT LOGIN
Click on Apps - lower left corner
For MAP - Choose NWEA Secure Testing
For NSCAS - Choose
The Testing Login Window should open.
CHROMEBOOKS - NOTE
At the start of testing if your students get a warning about the device not meeting minimum screen resolution you will need to change it.
Ctrl + Shift and the + or - keys will cycle through all the screen sizes.
Ctrl + Shift + 0 (zero) resets it to the default where it should be for testing.

Map will Email a password to the teacher
If you forget your password, ask the Tech Dept and they will request MAP to email you a link.
Teachers create a test session, then give the students the test Session Name and Password to log in and take the test. - Student Link

Install the iPad App:
Map on computers:

Students will log on to computers as normal.

Text to speech
K-1 All students have text to speech
Proctors must click on the student text to allow this.
2nd - 12 by accommodation only - from SRS

Turn on the Chromebook
DO NOT login in.
Click on Apps - lower left corner
Click on Questar-NE-ELPA This is the link to the Test.
The testing window should open.
