What is School Parent Council (SPC)? 

School Parent Council (SPC) is the independently established “voice” of all parents in the school community.  All parents/legal guardians are automatically members of the SPC at their child’s school. The goal of SPC is to advocate for the students, to voice concerns from the parent community, and to build community on a school-based level. SPC collaborates closely with the School Site Council. 

At Perkins, SPC meets once a month on Wednesdays from 7:45-8:45pm. Meetings are open to all families In the community and will be held in-person at the MJP and on Zoom.
