Prior to her time as the proud principal at the MJP, Miss Roshan was an assistant principal at the Richard J Murphy School in Dorchester. Miss Roshan's parents, siblings and MANY cousins live in Maryland where she visits often. Miss Roshan is a strong believer in the importance of student identity and empowering students' voices by building a community of advocates and leaders. As an Afghan American immigrant, she recognizes how critical it is that every child be heard, seen and embraced both as an individual and a member of the community.
