As our 6th graders embark on their second reading unit they will focus on Critical Problems and Design Solutions. Students will read The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind by William Kamkwamba and Bryan Mealer. The guiding questions for this unit are: 1. How can design thinking help solve a critical problem? 2. What habits of character can help solve a critical problem to contribute to a better community?
